DGS shortlisted for Education Business Award for STEM

Posted on: 10/06/2019

We are delighted to hear that Didcot Girls' School has been shortlisted for the STEM Award at this year’s Education Business Awards.

The Education Business Awards are national awards recognising success stories and examples of operational excellence in the UK Education System.

DGS was nominated for the work of the after school Science Clubs that has resulted in many former members now having careers in STEM, as well as for our many STEM events such as the recent workshop where pupils worked to design, build and market an autonomous car.

The awards ceremony, hosted by TV presenter Angellica Bell, takes place on the 4th July in London, where Dr Nickerson, STEM Coordinator and Mrs Rachel Norman, Governor, will represent the school.
