Duke of Edinburgh practice walk
Posted on: 04/04/2025Today saw the first of this year's Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award participants complete their practice walk, ahead of their expedition later on in the year.
This was especially adapted to meet the requirements of the group to ensure the day was accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities and additional needs. Students put their map-reading to the test and kept their spirits up with lots of snacks and singing. The students demonstrated superb teamwork by helping to support each other throughout the 13.1km walk.
